Through Conducting Programmes On Kartarpur Doesn’t Mean Resumption Of Any Bilateral Dialogue, India To Pakistan

Mumbai: India made it very clear to Pakistan that instigating talks on modalities of the Kartarpur corridor doesn’t lead to mean the resumption of any bilateral talks between both the nations.

“We had a meeting today on Kartarpur corridor. This aim that pilgrims should have easy access to Kartarpur Sahib. This doesn’t mean that we have any bilateral with Pakistan’, Mittal Deepak, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.

18 Pakistani delegation members were present when he was addressing the media after the meeting.

S.C.L Das, Joint Secretary in the ministry of Home affairs, India was led by him and while Pakistani delegation was led by Mohammed Faisal DG of Pakistan ministry of foreign affairs.

Mittal said, “We would not like any activity which leads to going against pilgrims to Kartarpur. Expectations of our were made crystal clear that we would not like any Pakistani miscreant.”

The detail and Constructive work were discussed. Various discussions were taken on a proposed agreement to actively operationalize corridors of Kartarpur Gurudwara, Joint statement by both the countries.

On another meeting is been decided to conduct on 19th March to discuss on technical experts. There will be more two round of meeting followed on 2nd April.

The programme to instigate Corridor of Kartarpur was the awaited request of the Hindus. It has been a discussion since Late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee took a bus to Lahore.
