Unnao Case: Mother Of Victim Refused To Airlift Her Daughter To Delhi
Mumbai: Unnao rape survivor’s mother refused to airlift her daughter to the AIIMS in Delhi. The Supreme court to agreed and ordered to carry out her medical treatment in Lucknow. The victim is still in critical condition. The supreme court also ordered to move the survivor’s uncle, who is imprisoned in Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli, to Tihar jail, immediately.
The other five cases are also transferred to Delhi court and are asked to come to a conclusion in 45 days. The UP government has provided the survivor’s family with a cheque of 25 lakh as the compensation. The CJI Gogoi also demanded answers from their secretary regarding the letter the survivor’s family member has written on July 12, where each of their concerns was mentioned.
The CBI is investigating both the car crash and the rape case. Sengar and 9 others are already arrested by the CBI after the survivor’s family member lodged a complaint. Kuldeep Sengar is also reported to be expelled from BJP. The lawmaker has been behind the bars for more than a year.
The CBI, however, is expected to present the investigation report in front of the supreme court in fourteen days.
