UPA Chief Sonia Gandhi And Congress Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad To Attend Modi’s Swearing-In Ceremony

Mumbai: According to media reports, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be attending Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony as the prime minister on May 30, Thursday.

Before the ceremony, detailed arrangements have been made by Delhi Traffic Police. According to the traffic advisory issued on Wednesday, many roads in New Delhi district will be closed for public movement between 4 pm to 9 pm on Thursdays and motorists and people will be asked to avoid them.

Heads of many states, heads of governments, constitutional officers, diplomats, senior political leaders, government officials, media persons are expected to attend this event.

Meanwhile, traffic on many roads including Akbar Road, Rajpath, Kishore Murthy Marg, Krishna Menon Marg, Pandit Pant Marg, Taalkota Road, Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Road, Tyagaraj Marg and SP Marg will have to face traffic.

Traffic will also be crossed on Khajak Road, Kamaraj Marg, Rajaji Marg, Shanti Path, Raisina Road – across the Rail Bhawan towards Parliament House and Moti Lal Nehru Marg (ahead of RV Bhawan towards Udaipur Bhawan).
