Uttarakhand State Government Reinforces Police Surveillance At All Inter-State Borders

Mumbai: Uttarakhand State Government has taken supplementary measures in controlling the Covid-19 spread through people entering its state by reinforcing police surveillance at all the interstate border checkpoints.

The borders are under the strict inspection of anyone entering. Their passes are being checked by the doctors for Covid-19. 

“People’s passes being checked, their details noted down. They’re being checked by doctors and sampling is done. After entering, they’re being made to go to the concerned police station where they’re filling up bonds for home quarantine”, says SHO Narottam Bisht, Clement town police told to the ANI.

Uttarakhand has a total of 88 positive cases with 51 successful recoveries and 1 death.
