Vajpayee’s Statute To Be Installed In UP Secretariat In Lucknow
Mumbai : After the establishment of Satute Of Unity in Vadodara, the UP Government has recently decided to set up 25 feet high statue of late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Lok Bhavan, the UP government secretariat in Lucknow, on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the late leader of BJP.
At this function, where Adityanath announced, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik were also present.
“Atalji had strong ties with Uttar Pradesh. He started his public life from Balrampur in the state and represented Lucknow as an MP for five terms,” the CM said.
“Atalji was the foundation of ‘sushasan‘ (good governance). He learnt the nuances of politics from Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and became a symbol of trust in politics,”

Meantime Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also announced that his government will set up the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Patna. Although no details were given about the proposed height and estimated cost of the statue, the CM of Bihar said that its place will be decided soon.
A 12.50 feet high statue of Swami Vivekanand will also be installed at the Raj Bhawan in Lucknow, which is the official residence of governor Ram Naik.
