‘You Were Only Taught To Divide The Nation’, Rahul Gandhi Slams PM Modi

Mumbai: Today Congress held a protest at Mahatma Gandhi memorial Rajghat in Delhi against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), we’re addressing the protester’s Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Modi and RSS that over the years Sangh has only taught him (PM) to divide the nation.

Congress senior leaders Ashok Gehlot, Kamal Nath and other top leaders of the party were present in the protest. Whereas INC interim president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and former PM Manmohan Singh read out the preamble of the constitution and called out for the protection of fundamental rights.

“Firing bullets on students, threatening journalists and pressurizing the judiciary is suppressing the voice of the nation. If you try to suppress the voice of the nation, the nation will defeat you well,” said Rahul Gandhi while slamming PM Modi.

In this ‘Satyagraha’, congress also said that there is a huge grudge against BJP’s decision as it takes the religious tests of the citizens. He also slammed that what the enemies of the nation couldn’t do, our PM is well capable of doing that. The PM should answer the nation why is growth rate had fallen from 9% to 4%.

Earlier in the morning Rahul Gandhi tweeted and called out people to join the protest.

“Dear Students and youth of India, it’s not good enough just to feel India. At times like these, it’s critical to show that you’re India and won’t allow India to be destroyed by hatred. Join me today at 3 p.m. at Rajghat, to protest against the hate and violence unleashed on India by Modi-Shah,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted in the morning.

On Sunday Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a rally in Delhi mentioned that CAA won’t affect a single Indian citizen.
