Jharkhand results, BJP lost another state:
BJP lost in Jharkhand elections even though PM Modi and Amit Shah’s wide campaign. Abki baar 65 paar slogan of BJP was totally a failure as they couldn’t even cross 25 seats. The local issues in the state are said to be the main reason for defeat.
JMM’s Hemant Soren new CM in Jharkhand:
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and INC’s alliance clearly passed the majority. JMM’s Hemant Soren is likely to be the next chief minister of Jharkhand. Son of a three-time chief minister of the state, Soren said that he will look after every problem of the state be it in jungle or a city.
People arrested in Kashmir for assisting JeM terrorist:
Shopian police arrested three people named Idris, Mudasir and Shahid. In their tweet JK police said that incriminating materials were recovered from them. And as per police records, they were assisting Jaish-e-Mohamed’s terrorists in Shopian and Kulgam.
Bumrah and Dhawan returns in T20 squad:
Jaspreet Bumrah and Shikhar Dhawan going to make a smashing return in limited overs cricket (T20) for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka (T20) and Australia (ODI). As Bumrah was rested for recent series due to stress fracture. Hitman Rohit Sharma and pacer Mohammed Shami has been given rest for these two series.
Trapped in septic tank, 3 dies in Mumbai:
3 sanitation workers got stuck in septic tank that they were cleaning in Govandi. The three were private workers who were hired to clean the tank. While cleaning they got trapped into tank and fell unconscious due to suffocation. When rushed to the hospital they were declared dead on arrival.
Bengal CM ‘misleading masses’ over Citizenship Act
Speaking at a rally in Kolkata supporting the Citizenship Act, Nadda claimed that Mamata has “always prioritized politics over national interests,” adding that unlike claims by “a section of people”, the law grants citizenship and does not take it away.
