130 Crore Indians Came In Solidarity By Lighting Diyas: UP CM

Mumbai: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that in line with Narendra Modi’s ‘9pm9minute’ campaign, 130 crore Indians came together on Sunday and lit a lamp and assured the Prime Minister that the country would win the battle against COVID-19.

Speaking to ANI Adityanath said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we saw how 130 crore Indians came in solidarity by lighting a lamp. People across the country have supported the lockdown in view of Coronavirus. This shows the unity in the country and India’s power in this world.”

He said that the way people came together against the fight to fight COVID-19, it would definitely give good results.

“Corona will lose and India will win. The way people lit candles, lamps and phone torches to express support for Prime Minister Modi, I would wholeheartedly like to thank the people of Uttar Pradesh. People should maintain social distancing to win this battle,” he added.

People in different states of the country burnt the lights of their homes on Sunday and lit earthen lamps in response to the Prime Minister’s ‘9 pm9minute’ appeal to defeat coronavirus in the country.
