1336 More COVID-19 Cases In India, Total Count Reaches 18,601

Mumbai: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Tuesday that India has reported 1,336 cases and COVID-19 cases in the country, counting coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

Of these, 14,759 patients are active cases and 3,252 cases have been cured or discharged. There have been 590 deaths so far.

There have been 47 deaths in the last 24 hours.

As per the morning update by the ministry, Maharashtra remains the worst-case state with 4,666 cases, with 572 patients recovered and 232 patients killed.

Delhi has a count of 2,081, of which 431 patients have been recovered or discharged, while 47 have died.

Gujarat ranks third among positive COVID-19 cases, with 1,939 cases with 131 recovered and 71 dead.

COVID-19 from Tamil Nadu has a figure of 1,520, in which 457 patients were recovered and 17 died.

There have been 1,576 cases in Rajasthan out of which 205 have been cured and 25 patients have died.
