I Will Be Temporarily Suspending Immigration Into The US: Donald Trump

Mumbai: US President Donald Trump announced on Twitter on Tuesday that he had decided to temporarily stop immigration to the United States. He said the move is ‘protecting the jobs of American citizens’.

“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!” his Tuesday morning tweet read.

The United States is by far the most affected country with the largest number of confirmed coronovirus cases. According to media reports, more than 7,50,000 infections and over 40,500 deaths have been reported in the United States so far.
