197 New COVID-19 Cases, 2 More Deaths In Andhra Pradesh

Mumbai: In Andhra Pradesh, around 41,000 sample trials were conducted in 197 fresh COVID-19 cases, as on Tuesday the gross was 8,85,234.

A bulletin from the Health Department said that 234 patients were recovered in the 24 hours ending at 9 am on Tuesday and two more people died due to a pandemic in the state.

Of the total recoveries, 8,75,690 and 7,133 people have died, 2,411 active cases.

Krishna district has the highest number of cases at 49, followed by Chittoor 32 and Guntur 31.

Less than 20 new cases were added to each of the remaining 10 districts, of which less than 10 cases were seen in seven.

The bulletin states that one fresh COVID-19 died in Krishna and Kadapa districts.

The overall infection positivity rate in the state skid to 7.14 per cent after a total of 1. 23 crore sample tests.
