2 Sisters Sexually Abused, One Attempts Suicide In MP; BJP Leader’s Son Among Accused

Mumbai: Two sisters aged 17 and 19 were allegedly sexually abused by four people, including a BJP leader’s son, in MP’s Datia.

The accused allegedly gang-raped the 19-year-old in front of her minor sister after ambushing them while they were returning home from school, police said.

The tragedy provoked protests in the surrounding neighborhood, with families and people demanding action against those responsible.

According to NDTV, two of the accused were detained following the demonstration.

The claimed event occurred in the seat of Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra, who represents the Datia Assembly constituency.

“One of the victims tried to kill herself by hanging. She was taken to the hospital and is being treated. “All of the accused are residents of the Unnao police station area,” according to the article.

It further stated that both the survivors and the accused are students and that the police are looking into the situation.

The accused has been charged under relevant parts of the Indian Penal Code as well as the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, according to the statement.

“According to the complainant, she and her elder sister were kidnapped by four people. The accused led them to a house and raped her elder sister,” according to the report.

According to the report, the woman’s younger sister filed a complaint.

Following the event, the girl and her younger sister returned home, where the victim tried to kill herself, according to the report.

According to the report, the woman was later brought to a hospital in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

The accused also sexually molested the plaintiff, according to the First Information Report (FIR).
