267 New COVID-19 Cases, 2 Deaths In Telangana

Mumbai: Telangana saw 267 fresh coronovirus cases, taking the total caseload to over 2.92 lakh, while two more fatal ones pushed the toll to 1,583.

The Government Bulletin on Wednesday said that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most cases with 20 and 18 in Karimnagar with 55 and Medchal Malkajgiri respectively.

The total number of cases was 2,92,395 while the recovery was 2,86,893.

On Tuesday, 3,919 patients are undergoing treatment and 27,471 samples were tested.

Cumulatively, more than 75.42 lakh samples have been tested. The Bulletin stated that the samples tested per million population were more than 2.02 lakh.

The case fatality rate in the state was 0.54 per cent, while at the national level it was 1.4 per cent.

The recovery rate in Telangana was 98.11 per cent, while it was 96.7 per cent in the country.
