Aligarh Murder Case: All Four Accused Arrested, Reports Claim One of Them Was Booked For Raping Own Daughter in 2014’

Mumbai: In a recent case of murder in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh Police has so far arrested four people accused of doing the brutal crime.

Meanwhile, The Indian Express reported that one of the accused in the Aligarh murder case was booked for raping his own seven-year-old daughter five years ago.

According to the report, that person was accused of rape with his daughter in 2014. He was arrested after a relative filed a complaint against him. However, he was granted bail a few months later, a UP police official told the chief daily.

Apart from this, four previous cases pending against the accused are pending. The cases registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) include 376 (rape), 354 (assault with the intention of insulting a woman) and 363 (kidnapping).

On June 2, the body of the child was found in a pile of waste, three days after its disappearance. 10,000 – Mortality on repayment of debt caused massive resentment on social media, political leaders and celebrities tweeted their hatred and anger on the cruelty of crime. Some children also picked a candle-light march in Aligarh.

There is no evidence of sexual assault in the report. However, a vaginal broom has been taken and it has been sent to a forensic science laboratory for confirmation, police said.

Answering the questions of journalists in Lucknow, ADG (Law and Order) Anand Kumar said, “The matter will be tracked fast. POCSO will also be included in the FIR. So far sexual harassment has not been ruled out.”

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has sought a report from the district administration.
