BJP Candiate Carries Coins In Metal Pot, Case Registered Against Him
Mumbai (MP) : BJP candidate Narayan Tripathi alleged for violation of the Model Code of Conduct in the poll in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Later on a case has registered against him for the same.
As per reports while he was going to file his nomination, he carried fee of Rs 10,000 in form Re 1 coin in a metal pot which was covered with a piece of red cloth. Later on he claimed that he have collected it from the people as their blessings.
The metal pot in which he coins are carried it looks as similar as to an urn used to carry the funeral ash which allegedly has a religious implication.
The case has registered under section 125 A of the Resprenstation of the people conduct.
Meanwhile Tripathi said “Issue is being unnecessarily blown out of the proportion by the Congress”
Congress is creating an issue out of this. I have not flouted any code of conduct” he said to ANI.
