BJP Leaders, IIT Institute, Common People To Pay Their Tribute For One Last Time To Late CM Parrikar

Mumbai: At the Miramar beach, Late CM Manohar Parrikar’s final rites will be performed by 5 pm. It is next to the memorial of Goa’s first chief minister Dayanand Bandodkar.

Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa passed away on Sunday. Since long he was suffering from his illness and had a check-up in Mumbai, Delhi, New York, Goa.

CM’s body was kept at his home overnight. In the morning he was brought to the BJP office and then was sent to Kala Academy where people were allowed to pay their last respect. He was called as ‘Common Minister’ as he was not one of those who has a luxurious life, he was the simplest one.

Today by 5 pm IIT Institute of Mumbai will have a condolence meeting to pay last tribute to their alumni. This will be held at P C Saxena auditorium.

Thousands of swarm of people gathered at BJP office when CM Parrikar was wrapped and brought in tricolour. People were disheartened and with teary eye praise for the one last time.

PM Modi will also shortly reach to Goa where he will pay his condolences to Late Parrikar. He tweeted saying, ‘Shri Manohar Parrikar was an unparalleled leader. A true patriot and exceptional administrator, he was admired by all. His impeccable service to the nation will be remembered by generations. Deeply saddened by his demise. Condolences to his family and supporters. Om Shanti’.

BJP government has declared that the next name for Goa CM will be announced shortly at 2 pm.
