Mumbai: From Congress, AAP and Bollywood paid their condolences to the late Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar who died on Sunday from Pancreatic Cancer.
The phenomenon nightingale of the country, Lata Mangeshkar tweeted saying, “Goa ke Mukhya Mantri Manohar Parrikar ji ke nidhan ki vaarta sunkar mujhe bahut dukh hua,unke aur hamare bahut acche sambandh the.Unke jaane se hamare desh ki bahut haani hui hai,ek atyant saccha insaan aur neta desh ne kho diya hai. Ishwar unki aatma ko shanti pradan kare.”

Congress President Rahul Gandhi very soon after Parrikar’s death tweeted and paid his condolences saying, “I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Goa CM, Shri Manohar Parrikar Ji, who bravely battled a debilitating illness for over a year. Respected and admired across party lines, he was one of Goa’s favourite sons. My condolences to his family in this time of grief.”

Parrikar has done its IIT from Mumbai University and was the IIT alumni at metallurgical engineering who later became an MLA.

Centre announced national mourning on March 18, on Monday follow with the demise of Late Parrikar. At half mast in Delhi flag will be hosted in his honour. A meeting if Cabinet minister is been called up on Monday at 10 am.
Late CM Parrikar has served Goa for 4 terms and been a defence minister from 2014 to 2017. With only 4 seats in 1994, today became a ruling party and served as Chief Minister of Goa.
At the age of 63 CM Parrikar passed away in Panaji, Goa date 17th March 2019.
