Budget Session Of Parliament From January 29, Union Budget To Be Presented On Feb 1

Mumbai: The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) on Tuesday recommended that the budget session of Parliament be held from 29 January.

Sources said that the CCPA recommended that the first part of the budget session be held from 29 January to 15 February, while the second part could be held from 8 March to 8 April.

As per the recommendation of the CCPA, President Ram Nath Kovind is likely to address the customary joint sitting of both houses of Parliament on 29 January, while the Union Budget 2021-22 will be presented on 1 February.
