Chelsea FC Names Arjun Kapoor As Their Brand Ambassador For India
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor named as brand ambassador of Chelsea India fan club.
The club’s official website quoted manager Frank Lampard as saying, “We are very happy to welcome Arjun Kapoor to the Chelsea FC family. He is a versatile actor with a brilliant personality and a deep affection for the club.”
“Arjun’s charisma and passion will be brought on screen as he hosts our brand-new digital fan-show – Blue Out with Arjun Kapoor”.
Kapoor also expressed happiness over the development and said that it was a dream come true for him.
“I have won diligently for the club, celebrating the win and feeling heartbroken by the loss. Chelsea are in a rebuilding phase. As a fan, I am privileged to have my knowledge I am spreading the word through India. Clubs and sports, “Kapoor said.
“I feel like a kid on the inside and can’t stop smiling. It is a dream come true to be the brand ambassador of Chelsea FC in India. I am thrilled that I will be part of the club’s specially designed campaign Hosting. Intended to bring Indian fans closer to the club, “he said.
On a work front Kapoor will next reunite with Parineeti Chopra in Dibakar Banerjee’s black comedy Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, following which he will appear as Sadashiv Rao Bhau, one of the leaders of the 3rd Battle of Panipat, in Ashutosh Gowariker’s period war drama Panipat.
