Congress President Rahul’s Resignation Is ‘Suicidal’ Says Lalu Prasad Yadav

Mumbai: Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad advised Congress President Rahul Gandhi not to resign from his post on Tuesday.

Lalu termed Rahul’s resignation as ‘suicidal’.

“Rahul’s offer of resignation is suicidal. The opposition parties had a common goal of disliking the BJP but failed to create a national story. The result of a special election can never change the reality in India as diverse and pluralistic as ever, “said the RJD chief.

“Leaving their comfort zone they should be killed on the roads that live with people’s pain and suffering in the Indian hilly areas. Lalu said that the tables will be changed as soon as possible,” Lalu stated.

Meanwhile, after being convicted in the fodder scam cases, Lalu Prasad is being treated at a government hospital in Ranchi, who has been troubled in his party’s election battle in Bihar and Jharkhand for the last few days. The Rashtriya Janata Dal has failed to win any seat in Bihar and its once in Jharkhand. Despite the Modi wave in 2014, RJD had won four seats from Bihar.
