Congress Registered 4-1 Victory At ByPolls Karnataka

Mumbai : In a recent development Congress has registered a 4-1 victory on the recent held bypolss in Karnataka.  The byelection was held for the three Lok Sabha seats Ballari, Mandya and Shivamogga and two Assembly seats Ramanagara and Jamkhandi.

Huge victory for Congress were VS Ugrappa won from Ballari, JD(S) Shivarame Gowda won from Mandya. Ramanagara and Jamkhandi Assembly seats were also won by both the Congress-JD(S) candidates.

Meanwhile Shivammoga Lok Saha seat was the only one victory for BJP had with the party’s BY Raghavendra leading.

Congress leader and former Union minister P Chidambaram said the 4-1 victory to a cricket “test series win under Virat Kohli”. “The coalition has delivered,” Chidambaram tweeted.

Karnataka Congress leader and a minister in the state government, DK Shivakumar, tweeted saying that bypoll results were an indication of the Congress-JD(S) alliance’s good fortunes in next year’s Lok Sabha election.

“This Deepavali, I thank the people of Karnataka & especially Bellary for blessing Congress party with this record victory,” Shivakumar tweeted, adding that the alliance was sure to win more than 20 of Karnataka’s 28 Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 general elections.
