Karnataka ByPolls Congress Leading Over BJP

Mumbai : The counting of three Lok Sabha and legislative assembly constituencies is on his way, meanwhile according to the reports Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading on his way in Shimoga parliamentary seat and trailing in the rest.

At the end of first round of counting in Shimoga parliamentary seat BY Raghavendra from BJP is leading over the Janata Dal Secular’s S Madhubangarappa by 3,906 votes.

After the third round of counting in Bellary Congress VS Ugrappa is leading over BJP’s J Shantha who is sister of BJP leader Sreeramulu by 45,808 votes. Meanwtime at the end of round five Madhya parliamentary seat JD(S) is leading by 1,09,066 votes.

Moving ahead towards Jamkhandi assembly seat after fourth round of counting , Congress Anand Siddu Nyamagouda is leading over BJP’s Kulkarni Shrikant Subrao by 7,149 votes.

Counting is still in process for all the five seats.

As the former state Chief Minister and BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa decided to contest the assembly from Shikaripura the Shimoga Lok Sabha seat fell vacant.

Elections in the three Lok Sabha and two Assembly constituencies were held on November 3.
