COVID-19 : Three New Cases In Karnataka

Mumbai: The state government said that three new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Karnataka, taking the total positive cases to 18.

The government stated that 48 government hospitals and 35 private hospitals have been identified as first respondent hospitals for the management of COVID-19 cases.

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has temporarily withdrawn the 25 per cent concession given to senior citizens on bus tickets by KSRTC buses to reduce their travel.

The Bangalore Metro has suspended operations on Sunday, while the City Bus Service, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) and the State Road Transport Corporation have decided to operate minimum services.

Bangalore’s famous shopping promenade, Brigade Road, will also be closed on Sunday. Alike, ride riding platform Ola has suspended ride-sharing services to encourage social distancing.
