‘Creation Of CDS Bold Step, IAF Will Extend Full Support,’ Says Air Chief Bhadauria

Mumbai: Soon after Bipin Rawat took over as the head of the Department of Defense (CDS), Indian Air Force chief RKS Bhadoria said on Wednesday that the creation of the post of CDS by the central government was a huge and bold move.

He said that this responsibility is on the three services of the armed forces so that they can fully support it and make it successful.

“The creation of CDS is a big step and a very bold step. Ones are actually well received within the timeframe for fully supporting it and making it successful at its foundation stage and coordinating, synergy, reducing effort, and actually achieving everything desired from this post Has three services to do. It will take a lot of work and we should be ready to do it and do it well, ”the Air Force chief told news agency ANI.

Stating that the Indian Air Force would extend full support for strong coordination within the three services of the Armed Forces, Bhadauria said that the creation of the post of CDS would help in all efforts that are necessary to bring it into proper coordination levels.

“The IAF will fully support this and help in all efforts that are necessary to bring it to the required level. There are issues of training, logistics… Areas already identified. We have done a lot in recent times and we need to do a lot more and this effort will continue, ”he added.

General Rawat took over as the country’s first CDS on 31 December and on Wednesday morning, he received the Guard of Honor from all three armies after stepping down on retirement as the Chief of the Indian Army.
