Deeply Shocked: PM Narendra Modi On Terrorist Attacks In Israel

Mumbai: Reacting to attacks in Israel by Hamas militants, PM Narendra Modi said, “Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel.” The ruling Hamas militant group in the Gaza Strip carried out an unprecedented, multi-front attack on Israel at daybreak Saturday, firing thousands of rockets.

“Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour,” the Prime Minister said via a social media post on X.

All residents of India have also been urged to use caution and abstain from pointless movements by the Indian embassy in Israel.

“In view of the current situation in Israel, all Indian nationals in Israel are requested to remain vigilant, and observe sfety protocols as advised by local authorities. Please exercise caution, avoid unnecessary movement and stay close to safety shelters,” the embassy had said in a statement.

In a shocking display of power that shocked the nation, Hamas fighters were still engaged in gunfights inside multiple Israeli communities six hours after the invasion started.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the incident as a terrorist act. India is designating Hamas as a terrorist organization since the top chair categorically recognized the horrible deeds as a terrorist attack. Given that Israel has already launched retaliatory attacks, PM Modi made no additional remarks in support of Palestine. This sends a loud and clear message to anyone who supports Islamic terrorists who accuse Israel of persecuting Palestinians while disregarding Hamas’ murderous operations. This shows that India will not support the terror activities of Palestinians, even though India has been taking a balanced stand on the Israel-Panestine issue.

Consul General of Israel in Mumbai, Kobbi Shoshani, said, “I would like to thank thousands of messages that I’ve been getting since the morning from the people of India, supporting the state of Israel in such a way that warms my heart and the heart of the people of Israel on a very sad day today. The stand of the Indian Government today is of significant importance in the global war against terrorism. Prime Minister Modi is a global leader and is very important to us as a state, as a friend, and as a brother. The situation of attacking the sovereignty of the state of Israel is not acceptable.”

Numerous Hamas terrorists crossed into Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip on October 7th, making it one of the bloodiest attacks in recent memory against the Jewish nation. Additionally, Hamas launched more than 5,000 missiles into Israel, significantly harming property. The militants from Hamas who carried out this attack kidnapped Israeli ladies and paraded them while shouting the Islamic anthem “Allah Hu Akbar.”

During the raid, Hamas militants kidnapped and transported many Israeli citizens and defense personnel to the Gaza Strip. Videos of numerous such occurrences have gained a lot of attention on social media.

According to a report in The Times of Israel, Israel declared a “state of war” after Gaza-based Palestinian terrorists fired many rockets at its southern and central regions. According to some reports, the terrorists have shot and murdered a number of civilians while holding numerous Israelis captive.

On a Jewish holiday, Israelis are the target of a surprise attack. Several armed individuals in uniform also launched a ground assault on the border town of Sderot, where they engaged in combat with Israel Defense Force soldiers. Although the exact number of terrorists who have entered the nation is unknown, local reports from the Israeli town indicate that there may be up to 40–50 of them.
