Delhi Capitals Beats Sunrisers Hyderabad By 2 Wickets, Will Play Eliminator 2 Against CSK

Mumbai: IPL 2019 is at its last stage of the season we’re Mumbai Indians have already nominated themselves in final whereas CSK still has a chance they win the eliminator 2 which will be played on 10th May.

Meanwhile today it’s time for eliminator 1 between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad as both the team will be looking to dominate today.

Winning the toss Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer decided to bowl first as he thinks we factor, later on, will help them to chase down the target easily.

For SRH Wriddhiman Saha failed to provide a good start for his side as he lost his wicket to Ishant Sharma scored 8 runs off 9 balls.

Martin Guptill was looking good was playing good shots but soon Amit Mishra dismissed him in his first over itself, Guptill scored 36 runs off 19 balls.

SRH was completely losing their wickets each of them was playing a small cameo due to which they managed to score 161 runs with the loss of 8 wickets.

Kane Williamson contributed 28 runs following, Manish Pandey scored 30 off 36 balls, Vijay Shankar played a small inning of 25 runs off 11 balls.

For Delhi Capitals Kemo Paul took 3 wickets following Ishant Sharma provided 2 wickets.

Chasing the target of 162 runs Delhi Capitals got a good start by both openers as they were looking good in the pitch were timing the ball well, bowling change for SRH brought success for them as Deepak Hooda dismissed Shikhar Dhawan who scored 17 runs of 16 balls.

Prithvi Shaw played a fabulous inning of 56 runs off 38 deliveries but soon lost his wicket to Khaleel Ahmed.

After a good start, Delhi Capitals were in the game completely but one of the best bowlers for SRH Rashid Khan provided took 2 wickets in one over itself which brought SRH in the game.

Delhi Capitals lost 5 wickets and all responsibility was headed to Rishabh Pant and he completely handled it with power-packed innings scored 49 runs off just 20 balls but it was late as DC needed just 5 runs in last over.

It was all about drama is last over as Amit Mishra lost his wicket as restricting the field which created a lot of thrillers but lastly Kemo Paul brought a win for his side.

Notably, Delhi Capitals won first Qualifier match after 2012 for the first time. Now eliminator 2 will be played in Vizag itself between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals and winner of that match will play against Mumbai Indians in Final at Hyderabad.
