Diamond Businessman Donates 11 Lakh Rupees To the Families Of CRPF Jawans Died In Attack

Mumbai: A trader from Surat donated Rs 11 lakh to the families of martyrs in horrific Pulwama terror attack and Rs 5 lakh to the service agencies instead of offering a feast on their daughter’s wedding.

A diamond businessman from Surat Dewashi Manek cancelled the ceremony which was to be held on the occasion of his daughter Ami’s wedding and instead donated money to bring monetary relief to the victims of the martyrs.

Manek’s daughter Ami married on Friday, 15th February, and the feast was going to be held after the ceremony. Instead of participating in a wedding feast, the businessman has decided to help the families of .jawans who lost their life.

The CRPF jawans on the Pulwama terror attack, which claimed the lives of 40 people on Thursday, is one of the most deadly terrorist attacks in India. Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed took responsibility for the attack. The attack took place when a vehicle carrying explosives-laden collision took place in a convoy of the buses belonging to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). It is believed that a Jaish terrorist named Adil Ahmed was a suicide bomber who killed 40 CRPF Braves and wounded many.

Meanwhile, India has forwarded its appeal to nominate JM chief Masood Azhar (talk of being hidden in Pakistan) as a global terrorist in the United Nations Security Council.

If Azhar is nominated by the UNSC as a global terrorist, he will face an asset-freeze and travel restriction. But as before, China, a veto-wielding member of UNSC and a known friend of Pakistan, are stopping the move of India to come into effect, and Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang still back to India on this issue Refused to take it.
