Mumbai: A cab driver was brought to death by a man by repeatedly hitting him with baseball bat allegedly after he refused to give the accused way in Khoda Colony.
Police said that with a popular riding-sharing app, 32-year-old driver Lakhan Singh died on Wednesday night when a debate between him and local youth, Mohit Yadav, arose when he reached near ‘Nanak’s bridge’.
The driver gave the argument to Yadav, who was coming from the opposite direction when he was on his way to pick up his traveler, he said.
Soon after, Yadav broke the window of Singh’s car, pulled him out and attacked him with a baseball bat.
According to the CCTV footage of the area, the incident has been confirmed and FIR has also been registered by can driver’s elder brother said, police officials.
Yadav is missing and police are conducting raids to nab him officials added.
