Mumbai: In another development at Kartarpur Corridor the government has informed that it will be going to open one Passport Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSKs) in Dera Baba Nanak so that people should not face difficulty in getting passports.
“There was an issue that people were facing difficulty in getting passports. We have three Passport Offices and five Passport Seva Kendras (PSK) and six Passport Offices Passport Seva Kendras (POPSK) in Punjab. We have our own in Dera Baba POPSK are opening. Nanak and organized six passport camps, “Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said in the weekly briefing.
The spokesperson also noted that negotiations are also underway on the removal of the USD 20 fee that Pakistan is taking on pilgrims as service charges.
