India On A Way To Whitewash South Africa

Mumbai: Day started with the brilliant delivery from Umesh Yadav picking the wicket of Faf Du Plessis by knocking the top of off stump.

It was expected that spinners will dominate the day but the Indian fast bowling unit was the one who impressed the most by taking 10 wickets among Shami and Umesh and rest spinners taking 6 wickets.

Zubayr Hamza showed some promise after making 62 but it was Ravindra Jadeja who provided break-through by bowling an Arm ball and ball crushing the leg stump. Debutante Shahbaaz Nadeem got the wicket of Temba Bavuma who was looking good and came down the pitch to hit the ball but he completely missed the ball and Saha stumped him and that’s how he got his first test wicket.

In 2nd innings Dean Elgar was struck a heavy blow on his helmet by the bouncer from Umesh, he retired hurt and for the third time in history, the batsman was ruled out because of concussion and is replaced by another batsman who is not in playing 11 i.e by Theunis de Bruyn. 12 wickets fallen till Tea and 4 wickets fallen after the tea break and again due to bad light play was stopped.

India is just 2 wickets away from winnings this test match and completes their whitewash over South Africa.
