Jammu And Kashmir Records 470 New COVID19 Cases, 6 Deaths
Mumbai: Officials said that on Tuesday, Jammu and Kashmir registered 470 new COVID-19 cases and killed six people, with the infection rising to 1,14,038 and 1,761 casualties.
Of the latest cases, 277 are from the Jammu division and 193 are from the Kashmir division, he said.
Officials said that the maximum number of 161 cases were registered in Jammu district, followed by 74 in Srinagar district.
The number of active cases in the union territory fell to 4,995, as 524 patients were recovered from the infection. Officials said that 1,07,282 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
The Union Territory reported six COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours – three from Jammu and Kashmir regions.
