Kuldeep’s Hat-Trick, Rohit-Rahul’s Tons Help India To Beat West Indies And Level Series 1-1

Mumbai: In the ongoing ODI series between India and the West Indies, men in blue managed to level the series 1-1.

On the batting pitch team, India was asked to bat first and they managed to score a huge target of 387 runs with the help of twin tons from openers Rohit Sharma (159) and KL Rahul (102).

Well in the second innings it was known that that batting will be easier and visitors had power-hitters in the batting line-up but, Kuldeep Yadav recorded history by becoming the only Indian bowler to claim two ODI hat-tricks by which India leveled the series by 107 runs.

Shai Hope (78), Jason Holder and Alzarri Joseph as visitors slipped from 192 for 3 to 210 for 8 in quick succession.

On the other hand in first innings, when skipper Virat Kohli failed to score runs in his 400th International match, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant handled the situation very brilliantly, meanwhile, Kedar Jadhav showed some class too ensured the Men in Blue finish with their second-highest total versus the opposition.

The series decider will be played in Cuttack on Sunday (December 22).
