Let India Fight Among Themselves, Bangladesh FM AK Abdul Momen On CAB

Mumbai: Soon after Rajya Sabha passed the most controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill with 125 votes in support, Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen lambasted on India and said: “let them (India) fight among themselves”.

“They (India) have many problems within their country. Let them fight among themselves. That does not bother us. As a friendly country, we hope that India will not do something that affects our friendly relationship,” ANI news agency reported.

Commenting further on the CAB, Moman said, “There are very few countries where communal harmony is good in Bangladesh. If he (Union Home Minister Amit Shah) stayed in Bangladesh for a few months, he would see exemplary communal harmony in our country. ”
