Mumbai: India defeated West Indies in the third T20 and clinched their 7th straight series win.
With the help of three half-centuries by skipper Virat Kohli (70 not out), Rohit Sharma’s 71 and KL Rahul (91) to post a mammoth 240 for 3 on board.
In reply, Windies lost some early wickets likes Brandon King, Lendl Simmons, and Nicholas Pooran. However, skipper Pollard put some fight as he scored 67 runs but couldn’t help to win the match for his side.
Put in to bat first we saw Rohit Sharma’s come back as he missed to score runs in the first two matches of the series here, whereas KL Rahul clinched the opportunity which he got in replacement of opener Shikhar Dhawan, with this the run machine of the cricket Virat Kohli scored fastest fifty in his T20 career.
Well with the help of 15 sixes India scored their second-highest score while batting first. Well, now India will take on West Indies on Sunday for the 1st ODI in Chennai.
