Look’s Like It Is Being Followed: Mike Hesson on ‘Janta Curfew’

Mumbai: Following ‘Janata Curfew’ imposed by PM Narendra Modi, IPL franchise Royal Challengers Banglore’s director of cricket, Mike Hesson, is pleased to see ‘Janta Curfew’ being followed in the city.

Taking to Twitter, Hewson shared a video of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, which is without any vehicular traffic. On normal days, the particular stretch sees heavy traffic.

“Have seen this view many times from my hotel room over the years but not with less than 1000 cars on it……..#India is having a curfew today for 14 hours to fight #covid_19 it looks like it’s being followed

On Thursday, the Prime Minister urged citizens to abide by the “public curfew” in an effort to pick up a coronavirus outbreak from 7am to 9 pm on 22 March.

So far, according to the Ministry of Health in India, there are 324 confirmed cases of coronavirus, while four people have died due to the highly contagious virus.
