Mumbai: Unconfirmed news is flashing with the death of Masood Azhar on social media. Maulana Masood Azhar is the one who is responsible for 2001 terror attack on Indian parliament in Delhi, 2016 Pathan Kot Air station attack.
He was the one for whom Kathmandu to New Delhi plane was hijacked so that release him from India’s prison.
Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan, a provincial minister in Pakistan’s Punjab states that the chief of Jaish-e-Muhammad, Azhar is still alive. ‘We have no information of his death, he is alive, Masood Azhar is alive’.
According to the reports Azhar has died in Rawalpindi at a military hospital. Reacting to the hearsay rumours of Azhar death Pakistan released a statement, ‘He is alive and doing well’.
Azhar’s death is also been disregard by Pakistan’s Geo Urdu news. ‘Azhar is Alive’ was stated by an unnamed source without elaborating on his health condition.
Rumours for death reports of Azhar came after an interview with Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday stating that ‘Azhar is in Pakistan and is really not well thus not able to leave his house’.
‘Pakistan government will act on Pulwama terror attack only if New Delhi avail solid and sacrosanct evidence that can attest in a court of law’, Qureshi said while being asked that why Pakistan is not taking action confronting terror militants that attacked at Pulwama which lead to the death of 40 Indian CRPF soldiers.
Masood Azhar soon after been freed from Indian prison, In 2000 he established Jaish-e-Mohammad. within a year he attacked Indian parliament in Delhi that rooted to death of 10 people than at Pathankot IAF station in 2016 which usher to death of 1 civilian and 7 security personnel and the 2019 Pulwama terror attack which escort to death of 40 CRPF Soldiers.
