MC Mary Kom Aims Medal In Tokyo Olympics

Mumbai: All eyes on a medal in 2020 Tokyo Olympic claims Indian ace boxer and five-time world championship MC Mary Kom.

Speaking with ANI news Agency, Mary Kom said, “I am trying my best for 2020 Olympics and the government is supporting me, I am trying my best to qualify and bring medal.”

The 36-year-old boxer won a bronze medal in the 51kg category at the Women’s World Boxing Championships 2019 in October. However, she won a gold medal in the 2018 edition of the Women’s World Boxing Championships.

Mary Kom said that she would cherish her performance of the Women’s World Boxing Championships in 2018 and 2019 for a long time.

“Well for many years I have been representing my country in boxing, my career has been very good, I have done very well, 2018 was a remarkable performance, especially with the kids and even after so many responsibilities, to perform It’s not easy. I will always remember for 2018 world championship medal and even 2019 championship also,”

The Olympic medalist said that she is working hard for the upcoming tournament. He said, “I am preparing for the upcoming championship, winning medals is not easy but I am trying my best.”
