Mumbai: Karmveer, a New Delhi Traffic Inspector has charged Madhur Verma who is Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), New Delhi saying he tossed abusing him.
Karmveer who is posted in Khan Market circle purported that on Sunday, a vehicle went on from the wrong side which was of DCP’s. Karmveer was on his duty so he stopped the vehicle and questioned him. It followed with a quarrel and this broke out around the two. Karmveer menaces him to call for which the driver replied that he is a DCP’s operator.
Karmveer after alleging about the incident, at 11 pm, Station House Officer (SHO) called him where DCP Madhur Vermas was present.
According to Karmveer, Verma first tossed abusing him and then he started beating him when the inspector asked the DCP to not to abuse him. The inspector than has registered a complaint against DCP Verma in the police station, with the National Capital commissioner, Governor and the Prime Minister’s office.
DCP Madhur Verma has neglected this proclamation on him.
The DCP said, “The Traffic Inspector Karmveeer on Sunday was riding a Puducherry Vehicle with his subordinates in the Delhi police. He realized his mistakes and apologized to the DCP and subordinates. But, when he (Karmveer) realize that there will be action taken against him from the department, he made up a story and now has alleged wrong allegations.”
