No Meeting Between BSP Leader Mayawati And UPA Chief Sonia Gandhi

Mumbai: Party leader SC Mishra told ANI that BSP supremo Mayawati will not hold a meeting with Opposition leaders in the national capital on Monday. After the report suggest that Mayawati will meet with Congress President Rahul Gandhi and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, clarification has come.

Mishra told ANI, “Mayawati does not have any program or meeting in Delhi today, she will be in Lucknow.

It was said that Congressmen were trying to fix a meeting between Sonia Gandhi and Mayawati because the grand old party was hoping that the BSP would support any government other than the BJP.

Earlier on Sunday, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu met Sonia and Rahul. All three discussed the post-election scenario and discussed the issue of reform strategies to strengthen the anti-BJP front.
