Prajnesh Gunneswaran Beats Clarke, Leading To Make Miami Main Draw

Mumbai: Prajnesh Gunneswaran playing in his second straight Masters 1000 main draw after the qualifying, the world No 84 broke first but then lost his serve on the first break point he faced. The set then went into a Tiebreak and the Spaniard proved too strong, taking the first set while Prajnesh managed just three points.

Prajnesh beat Jay Clarke to make his second straight Masters appearance of the Miami Open Tournament.

In the second qualifying round, Prajnesh defeated Clarke by 6-4 6-4 of the ATP tennis tournament to set up on the main draw.

For the 29 years old Indian it was no harder than the first round when he continued the same. momentum on to the second round to beat the 20 years Clarke who couldn’t save the match from getting sealed by Prajnesh.

The Indian will meet Jaume Munar of Spain in the first round main draw on Friday.
