Security Beefed Up Outside Balasubrahmanyam’s Farmhouse In Thiruvallur

Mumbai: Security arrangements have been made outside the farmhouse of musician SP Balasubrahmanyam’s in Thamaraipakkam village in Tiruvallur district on Saturday.

Superintendent of Police Thiruvallur told ANI, “Today, at the funeral of SP Balasubrahmanyam, we have made elaborate security arrangements. We have deployed separate traffic police to take care of traffic issues and about 500 personnel.”

Fans gathered outside the late playback singer’s farmhouse to pay tribute to him.

On Friday night, the body of Balasubrahmanyam was brought to his farmhouse for the last rites.

Balasubrahmanyam, popularly known as SPB, died on Friday afternoon after a month-long battle at MGM Healthcare’s intensive care unit in Chennai. He was 74.
