Mumbai: Army Chief MM Narvane, who is visiting Leh to review the ongoing border tension with China, said on Friday that the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) was “grim” and would continue the precautionary steps taken by the Indian Army will help in maintaining the situation.
“After reaching Leh yesterday, I went to various places and spoke to the officers and JCOs (Junior Commissioned Officers). They reviewed the situation. The moral of the soldiers is very high and they are ready to face any challenge. I can say that our soldiers are the best, ”Narvane told ANI.
