Smriti Irani’s Instagram Has A Quirky Response To Critics

Mumbai : Union Cabinet Minister and the well-known TV actress Smriti Irani gave an unconventional reply to trolls she has been receiving for her comments on the Sabarimala Temple issue.

Irani was stated for addressing an unnatural similarity over the ongoing debate for women’s entry into Lord Ayappa’s shrine.

The Union Minister said, “I have the right to pray, but don’t have the right to desecrate. I am nobody to speak on Supreme Court verdict because I am serving cabinet Minister. Bit just plain common sense. Would you take sanitary napkins seeped in menstrual blood into a friend’s home? You would not. And would you think that it is respectful to do the same when you walk into the house of God? So that is the difference. That is my personal opinion.”

The 42-year-old actress who is known for her humorous stint on the social media on Thursday reverted to the trolling by posting a picture from her’Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahuti’ days.

Amid the image, in which she is tied with ropes and cloth around her mouth, Smriti said, “#hum bolega to bologe ki bolta hai.”

Sometimes it is tough to elate social media feed of famous personalities, especially ministers, Smriti Irani’s instagram account is a proof she doesn’t take herself-and the criticism directed at her-too seriously.

The humorous memes on her feed includes common man distress like waiting for weekends, boring Mondays, etc.
