Taliban Now Possess $85 Bn Worth Of Military Equipment Including More Black Hawk Choppers Than 85% Nations

Mumbai: According to the Daily Mail report, US Republican Congressman Jim Banks has revealed that the Taliban now have more Black Hawk helicopters than 85 per cent of the world’s countries.

Banks, who served as the officer in charge of supplying weapons to Afghanistan, said: “Due to the negligence of this administration, the Taliban now have $85 billion in military equipment.”

The transformation of the rebel group from a rag-tag guerrilla force into a highly professional, effectively equipped army has come at the expense of Western taxpayers, the report said.

The UK and US have raised the tab not only for eye-watering expensive hardware but also training budgets – the ranks of the Taliban swelled by defectors from the Afghan National Security Forces.

Ironically, the new Taliban arsenal was supposed to prevent Afghanistan from falling into the hands of the Taliban.

The group appears to have assisted themselves in a state-of-the-art MBITR-2 (multi-band integrate radio) supported by the US Green Berets, but this has been denied by most conventional UK personnel. They were issued to Afghan government forces.

Furthermore, their weapons appear to be immaculately clean and well maintained, their uniforms appear to have been washed and ironed and they carry their weapons as British soldiers are taught to carry their weapons.

The report noted that changes in group attendance and competence are rarely more vivid or disturbing.

The sandals and shalwar kameez have been replaced with combat boots and tailored camouflage uniforms.

Ancient AK47s are nowhere to be seen. Instead, today’s Taliban carry a US Green Beret-issue M4 carbine with a telescoping stock.

The Taliban of 15 years ago were rarely seen wearing helmets. But today their headwear is more expensive and more advanced than the headwear worn by most British soldiers.
