Mumbai: As ED summoned MNS chief Raj Thackeray, the entry Thackeray family comes in support for Raj.
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that entire Thackeray family is supporting MNS chief Raj Thackeray who has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in a money-laundering case.
Raut’s statement Shiv Sena chief and Raj’s cousin Uddhav Thackeray said he was confident that the ED’s investigation would not reveal much.
Raj appeared before the ED here on Thursday morning.
Debt and equity infusion is being investigated by the central agency Infinity Leasing & Financial Services (IL & FS) by Kohinoor CNTL, a real estate venture in which the MNS chief had a stake for some time.
Rajya Sabha member Raut told reporters, “Uddhav Thackeray had yesterday made it clear that nothing concrete would be done against Raj. As Uddhav has supported his brother, his entire family is behind Raj Thackeray.”
