Mumbai: According to the latest data procured from Johns Hopkins University, the United Kingdom has witnessed 1,78, 583 cases up to date while the death toll stands at 27,583.
At present, the UK has been successful in acquiring the goal of 100,000 tests per day as 122,347 samples were notably tested on Thursday itself according to British Health Secretary, Matt Hancock.
Meanwhile, the United States’ stats have topped over a million. About 11,02,703 cases have been reported with 64,789 fatalities.
The US President, Donald Trump has asserted that the novel coronavirus death toll is estimated to be under 100,000.
