Unnao Rape Case : BJP Expels Kuldeep Sengar

Mumbai: The Unnao rape case has been a topic of discussion for many in Uttar Pradesh, every time discussing the safety of women in the state. The Unnao rape case has agitated the people in a way that BJP had to expel its member Kuldeep Sengar who also happens to be accused of raping the minor in 2017.

People always reported to police about Kuldeep Sengar and his nuisance. Mr Sengar according to some people called himself as the lawmaker of the area. The party started taking action against its members after the Sunday’s accident where the car carrying Unnao girl along with her two aunts and a lawyer was crushed by a truck. Her aunts were announced dead the moment they entered the hospital whereas the lawyer and the girl are said to be dangling in a critical condition.

Though the family of the victim still believes that the accident was an attempt on the part of Kuldeep Sengar to erase the 19-year-old and her family just as he had explained in his threats.

On Tuesday the centre has handed the case to CBI as per the recommendations of the UP government. The CBI has booked 10 people under murder charges, this includes Mr Sengar himself who is still in the prison since last year. He had been put into a lock-up on 13 April due to his involvement in the Unnao rape case.
