Uttarakhand Ban’s ‘Kedarnath’ As Protest Might Violate Peace

Pune : The Abhishek kapoor directorial Kedarnath is under various issues as it now Suffers ban in 7 districts of Uttarakhand declared by 2 magistrates. However, there’s no official ban by the state government declared. 

Recently, there’s huge protest going on against the movie Kedarnath leading to which, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar have imposed a ban on the release of the movie kedarnath for it can evoke disruption of laws and orders. District magistrates have decided to stop the movie to release in the theatres, while UK High court hasn’t stepped in the matter by rejecting the PIL for the ban.  

CM Trivendra Singh Rawat held a meeting of the state government after accepting the report from the committee which was also headed by Satpal Maharaj, the tourism minister. After going through the movie objects, they came to a conclusion that there won’t be an official ban on the movie while the DMs were free to decide for their districts as per the situation. Information Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, DGP Anil Raturi, ADG B Vinay Kumar,ADG Ashok Kumar and Additional Secretary Ashish Joshi were the part of the meeting. 

Kedarnath starring Sushant Singh Rajput and debuting actress Sara Ali Khan is protested for spreading jihad love and hurting Hindu sentiments.
