Virat Kohli Is Better Than Rohit Sharma In White-Ball Cricket: Brad Hogg

Mumbai: Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg said that Virat Kohli is better than Rohit Sharma in white-ball cricket because of his consistency during run-chases.

Hogg uploaded a video on his official YouTube channel and this was when he answered a fan’s question about who is better than Kohli and Sharma in white-ball cricket.

Hogg uploaded a video saying, “Well, Virat Kohli, because he is more consistent after chasing India’s big runs. When India is batting second, he stands up. But you really cannot compare the two as they have different roles,” Hogg said in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel.

He said, “Rohit Sharma’s role is to be aggressive against new bowlers when the ban on the field is minimal and Virat Kohli’s role is to bat through the innings and make sure he is there at the end, so they complement each other,” he added.

Currently, Kohli is at the top position in the ICC ODI rankings while he is second in the Test rankings.

On the other hand, Rohit finished as the highest run-scorer in the 2019 World Cup by scoring 648 runs in only nine matches at an average of 81.00.

During the tournament, he also became the first batsman to score five centuries in a single edition of the World Cup.
