Woman From Delhi Gangraped In Moving Autorickshaw In UP

Mumbai: A woman from Delhi was gang-raped in a moving autorickshaw by its driver and his two accomplices in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh district. The accused also robbed the woman of her purse which contained ₹20,000.

Later, the miscreants threw the woman in the Nanau area under the Akbarabad police station of Aligarh. This horrific incident happened on the night of 14 April at around one o’clock.

After getting information about the crime, the police admitted the victim to the hospital and on the basis of the complaint of the woman, an FIR has been registered. The woman, who hails from the Akbarabad area of ​​Aligarh, currently lives in New Delhi with her husband and children.

On Thursday, she came to Aligarh by bus from Delhi. The victim then hired an auto from the Gandhi Park bus stand. Apart from the driver, there were three other people in the autorickshaw. The woman said the accused gang-raped her after one of the passengers got down from the auto on the way. They also looted Rs 20,000 from the woman.

The victim alleged that when she protested against the crime, the accused also assaulted her. The woman then reported the crime to the police and was later taken to the hospital.

Aligarh SSP Kalanidhi Naithani said that a case of rape and dacoity has been registered against the auto driver and two others. Police said they are scanning the CCTV footage of the Gandhi Park bus stand and the road leading to Akbarabad. Soon the accused will be caught.
